Senior Accountant

We are seeking to employ a Senior Accountant 

Position statement

  1. Independent overall accounting treatment, use financial software to prepare accounting vouchers, correctly handle income, cost, transactions, inventory and other accounting;

  2. Independently, timely and accurately complete the settlement work every month, issue financial statements, and complete the corresponding financial analysis;
  3. Independently and timely check creditor's rights and debt items, and strengthen early warning management of debt receivable items;
  4. Responsible for the review of bills and able to clearly distinguish valid documents recognized by tax;
  5. Independently responsible for the overall tax declaration and management, including VAT, INCOMETAX, PAY, NAPSA, etc., including but not limited to monthly, quarterly and annual tax declaration, tax enterprise relationship maintenance, familiarity with tax policies, statistical data submission, tax inspection, etc.
  6. Have an in-depth understanding of the business situation of the enterprise, establish and optimize the financial process related to the business, manage the daily work such as cashier and warehouse management, and provide effective suggestions for the cost reduction and efficiency increase of the enterprise

  1. Job requirements
  2. College degree and certified financial certificate;
  3. Grade 12 GCSE Certificate and transcript results
  4. More than 3 years of experience in general ledger and tax processing;
  5. Familiar with national financial and economic accounting regulations and policies, tax policies;
  6. Under the age of 40;
  7. Strong communication skills, strong learning ability, strong pressure resistance ability, strong leadership ability, organization and management ability, and strong comprehensive coordination ability.


III. Other requirements

  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Awareness of business trends
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages especially Net Suite
  • Team player, able to adapt easily and mature.
  • Good written or spoken communication skills
  • Ms Office/Software: Proficient in MS excel.

Senior Human Resource Officer

We are seeking to employ a Senior Human Resource Officer

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Must have excellent experience in handling immigration matters with good Public Relations.
  • Experience processing statutory company requirements with, PACRA, NAPSA, NHIMA and Workers’ compensation
  • Reporting to Human Resource manager be able to manage staff induction and probation periods of the staffs.

·         Establish personnel files ensuring that necessary information is available and are appropriately filed.

·         Respond to human resources-related staff queries and concerns

·         Implement the organization’s human resources policies and ensure compliance by all staff at the company.

·         Facilitate the creation of the conducive work environment by overseeing the health and safety of all staff.

·         Monitoring general staff performance and attendance.

·         Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.


Minimum Education and Experience Competencies

·         Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, Social Science or related field.

·         5 years’ experience as Human Resource Practitioner or related experience.

·         Must have excellent experience in handling immigration matters with good Public Relations.

·         Experience processing statutory company requirements with, PACRA, NAPSA, NHIMA and Workers’ compensation

·         A member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management and must possess a valid practicing license.

·         Good computer skills including a solid command of MS office including Word and Excel.

·         Good understanding of Zambian Labour laws.

·         Ability to advise, support and where necessary counsel staff on HR-related issues.

·         Strong in developing human and administrative systems.

·         Ability to work with minimal supervision.
