Liaison Officer

Position statement

We are seeking a Liaison Officer to facilitate communication and collaboration between departments, teams, or organizations. In this role, you will serve as a bridge, connecting and coordinating efforts to ensure smooth operations and efficient decision-making. Key responsibilities include managing information flow, resolving conflicts, and maintaining strong relationships.

Position: Property Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a prudent Property Manager to oversee the direct management of assigned commercial and residential properties. The goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and proper maintenance of the properties.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain properties by investigating and resolving complaints, enforcing occupancy rules, inspecting completed houses, organizing repairs, planning renovations, and contracting landscaping services.
  • Maintain building systems by contracting maintenance services and supervising repairs.
  • Secure properties by contracting security patrol services, installing and maintaining security devices, establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures, and responding to emergencies.
  • Enforce occupancy policies and procedures by addressing violations.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Achieve organizational goals by accepting ownership for new and varied tasks and exploring opportunities to add value.
  • Manage financial matters, coordinate maintenance work, and prepare performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Full Grade 12 certificate
  • Degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Solid knowledge of office software, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Experience

  • Experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with local and state laws and regulations
  • Working knowledge of property regulations
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Good understanding of marketing and accounting principles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong customer service skills
